PRESCRIBED LEGISLATION: MONETARY PENALTIES UNDER SECTION 14.1 OF THE ACT

Prescribed legislation: monetary penalties

1. (1) The following are prescribed for the purposes of subsection 14.1 (1) of the Act:

1. Gaming Control Act, 1992.

2. Liquor Licence Act.

(2) Paragraph 1 of subsection (1) does not apply if this section comes into force before January 1, 2008.

Revocation

2. Subsection 1 (2) of this Regulation is revoked.

Commencement

3. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Regulation comes into force on the later of,

(a) the day subsection 1 (4) of the Ministry of Government Services Consumer Protection and Service Modernization Act, 2006 comes into force; and

(b) the day this Regulation is filed.

(2) Section 2 comes into force on the latest of,

(a) the day subsection 1 (4) of the Ministry of Government Services Consumer Protection and Service Modernization Act, 2006 comes into force;

(b) January 1, 2008; and

(c) the day this Regulation is filed.
