Amending Reg. 723 of R.R.O. 1990

(Possession of Liquor in Provincial Parks)

1. The definition of “interior campsite” in section 1 of Regulation 723 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked and the following substituted:

“interior campsite” means a parcel of land that is not directly accessible by road and that is located in the area operated by the superintendent for the purpose of interior camping, as indicated on a current park map and designated by signs and other suitable means;

2. (1) Clause 2 (2) (b) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(b) on premises occupied under an agreement made under subsection 35 (2) of the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act, 2006;

(2) Clause 2 (2) (d) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(d) to a person who is carrying or conveying liquor or any package containing liquor from outside of the provincial park to any of the premises enumerated in clause (a), (b) or (c) that are to be occupied by the person or from those premises to the entrance of the provincial park.

3. Clauses 3 (2) (a) and (b) of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

(a) on premises occupied under an agreement made under subsection 35 (2) of the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act, 2006; or

(b) to a person who is carrying or conveying liquor or any package containing liquor from outside of Sibbald Point Provincial Park to premises that are to be occupied by the person under an agreement made under subsection 35 (2) of the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act, 2006 or from those premises to the entrance of the provincial park.

4. The Schedule to the Regulation is amended by adding the following item:

Ferris Provincial Park

5. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
