MARINE BOARD (SEABORNE SERVICES) AMENDMENT
REGULATIONS 2016

The Minister responsible for Marine and Ports Services, in exercise of the power
conferred by section 97 of the Marine Board Act 1962, makes the following Regulations:

Citation
These Regulations which amend the Marine Board (Seaborne Services) Regulations

2013 (“the principal Regulations”), may be cited as the Marine Board (Seaborne Services)
Amendment Regulations 2016.

Revokes and replaces the Schedule
The Schedule to the principal Regulations is revoked and replaced with the

following—

Notes
1 Where a vessel has been hired continuously for a period exceeding

twenty-four hours the Authority may reduce the rate in respect of the
period exceeding twenty-four hours by an amount not exceeding ten per
centum.

2 Tender Service to cruise ships is subject to a minimum of—
(a) three round trips for the first twelve hour period; and
(b) five round trips in any twenty-four hour period.

3 Except in the case of dues specified in Part IV of the Schedule, all charges
are subject to a 100 per cent surcharge—
(a) on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; and
(b) between 1630 hours and 0800 hours on normal working days. ”.

Commencement
These Regulations shall come into force on 1 April 2016.3
