MARINE BOARD (LIGHT TOLLS) REGULATIONS 2013

The Minister responsible for Marine and Ports Services, in exercise of the power
conferred by section 103(2) of the Marine Board Act 1962, makes the following Regulations:
Citation
These Regulations may be cited as the Marine Board (Light Tolls) Regulations 2013.
Payment of light tolls
Light tolls payable pursuant to section 25 of the Marine Board Act 1962 shall be
calculated as set out in the Schedule.
Revocation
The Marine Board (Light Tolls) Regulations 2009 are revoked.
Commencement
These Regulations shall come into force on 1 April 2013.

1. Vessel calling at these Islands—
(a) for the sole purpose of landing any sick, disabled or
injured person and not landing any other person and
not taking on board or discharging cargo; or
(b) by reason of sickness on board, 2.8 cents per net
register ton
subject to—
a minimum charge of $71
a maximum charge of $404
2. (a) Vessels employed exclusively under contract to Her
Majesty’s Government in laying, repairing or
maintaining any electric cable, or in any service
connected therewith;
(b) Vessels calling at these Islands for orders only;
(c) Vessels calling for fuel, water stores or provisions for
the ship’s own use; or
(d) Vessels calling at these Islands not less often than
once in every twenty-eight days to land or take on
board passengers or cargo,
12 cents per net
register ton
subject to—
a minimum charge of $161
a maximum charge of $546
3. All other vessels 22 cents per net
register ton
subject to—
a minimum charge of $329
a maximum charge of $1,103
