GOVERNMENT OMNIBUS (FARES) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2013

The Minister responsible for transport, in exercise of the power conferred by
section 9 of the Public Transportation Act 1951, makes the following Regulations:

Citation
These Regulations may be cited as the Government Omnibus (Fares) Amendment

Regulations 2013.

Amends regulation 4
In regulation 4 of the Government Omnibus (Fares) Regulations 1952 (“the

principal Regulations”), delete the words “shall be as follows—” to the end, and insert “shall
be as set out in the Schedule.”

Inserts Schedule
At the end of the principal Regulations insert—

1. Cash (up to 3 Zones)—
(a) Adult $3.00
(b) Child $2.50
Cash (up to 14 Zones)—
(a) Adult $4.50
(b) Child $2.50

2. Tokens—
(a) 3 Zone Tokens $2.50
(b) 14 Zone Tokens $4.00
subject to such discount, not exceeding 10%, as the Minister
may from time to time allow to an authorized agent who
purchases 200 tokens or more.

3. Tickets per booklet of 15 tickets—
(a) 3 Zone Tickets
Adult $20.00
Child $7.50
(b) 14 Zone Tickets
Adult $30.00
Child $7.50

4. Persons under 5 years of age Free
5. Special persons on production of a special transportation

identification Free
6. Students if student pass produced Free
7. Persons holding passes—

(a) Monthly Pass $55.00
(b) Quarterly $135.00
(c) Persons holding multi-day passes—
(i) Travel for 1 day
Adult $15.00
Child $7.50
(ii) Travel for 2 days
Adult $25.00
Child $12.50
(iii) Travel for 3 days
Adult $35.00
Child $17.50
(iv) Travel for 4 days
Adult $44.00
Child $22.00
(v) Travel for 7 days
Adult $56.00
Child $28.00
subject to such discount, not exceeding 10%, as the Minister
may from time to time allow to an authorized agent who
purchases ten passes or more. ”

Commencement
These Regulations come into effect on 1 April 2013.4
