HEALTH INSURANCE (HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN) (PREMIUM)

AMENDMENT ORDER 2009



The Minister responsible for health, in exercise of the powers
conferred on him by section 13(2) of the Health Insurance Act 1970,
makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
1 This Order, which amends the Health Insurance (Health
Insurance Plan) (Premium) Order 1987 (the “principal Order”), may be
cited as the Health Insurance (Health Insurance Plan) (Premium)
Amendment Order 2009 and comes into operation on 1 April 2009.

Revokes and replaces paragraph 2
2 Paragraph 2 of the principal Order is revoked and replaced by
the following—

"Premium
2 The premium (including the standard premium) to be
paid to the Council in respect of each health insurance plan
effected with the Council under the Act shall be $241.15 a
month (or $55.66 a week where paid weekly).”.

Revokes paragraph 3
3 Paragraph 3 of the principal Order is revoked.
