HEALTH INSURANCE (HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN)
(ADDITIONAL BENEFITS) AMENDMENT ORDER 2007

The Minister of Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon
him by section 13(2)(b) of the Health Insurance Act 1970, makes the
following Order:

Citation and commencement
1 This Order, which amends the Health Insurance (Health
Insurance Plan) (Additional Benefits) Order 1988 (the “principal Order”),
may be cited as the Health Insurance (Health Insurance Plan) (Additional
Benefits) Amendment Order 2007 and shall come into operation on 1
April 2007.

Amends Schedule
2 The Schedule to the principal Order is amended by deleting
items 7 and 8 and substituting the following⎯

“7. Cost of prescription drugs, to an amount not exceeding
$1,200 per year, in respect of persons 65 years of age and
older.

8. Office visits to a maximum of 4 visits.”
