THE MARINE BOARD (FERRY SERVICES FARES)
AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2004
The Minister of Transport in exercise of the powers conferred
upon him by section 97 of the Marine Board Act 1962 makes the
following Regulations:
Citation
1 These Regulations may be cited as the Marine Board (Ferry
Services Fares) Amendment Regulations 2004.
Amendments
2 The Marine Board (Ferry Services Fares) Regulations 1992 are
amended—
(a) by deleting regulation 2 and substituting the following—
"Ferry services fares
2 With effect from 1 April 2004 the fares specified
in the Schedule shall be levied for ferry services."; and
(b) by deleting parts A and B of the Schedule and
substituting the following—

1 Tickets and tokens $4.00 per person
2 Tickets for adult persons under the age of
65 years
$30.00 per booklet
of 15 tickets
3 Auxiliary bicycles $4.00 each
4 *Tickets for students and children $7.50 per booklet of
15 tickets
5 Special persons on production of a special
transportation identification Free
6 Persons under 5 years of age Free
7 Persons holding passes
(a) Monthly
(b) Quarterly
(c) Students and children
(i) monthly pass
(ii) term pass
(d) Persons holding multi-day passes
(i) travel for 1 day

*The expression "student" means a person bona fide attending any
school on a full-time basis as a pupil or student.
