THE HOSPITAL INSURANCE (HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN)
(ADDITIONAL BENEFITS) AMENDMENT (NO. 2) ORDER 2003

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
section 13 of the Hospital Insurance Act 1970 makes the following
Order:

Citation and commencement
1 This Order which amends the Hospital Insurance (Health
Insurance Plan) (Additional Benefits) Order 1988 may be cited as the
Hospital Insurance (Health Insurance Plan) (Additional Benefits)
Amendment (No. 2) Order 2003 and shall come into operation on 20
June 2003.

Amendment
2 The Schedule to the Hospital Insurance (Health Insurance Plan)
(Additional Benefits) Order 1988 is amended by deleting item 7 and
substituting the following 

"7 Cost of prescription drugs, to an amount not exceeding $1000
per year, in respect of persons 65 years of age and older".
