THE POST OFFICE AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2000

The Minister of Finance in exercise of the power conferred upon
him by section 65 of the Post Office Act 1900, makes the following
regulations:

Citation
1 These Regulations which amend the Post Office Regulations
1933 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Regulations") may be cited
as the Post Office Amendment Regulations 2000.

Amends Regulation 4 of principal Regulations
2 Regulation 4 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting
the table of postage rates appearing therein and substituting the
following table—

Amends regulation 124 of principal Regulations
3 Regulation 124 of the principal Regulations is amended—

(a) by deleting sub-paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) of paragraph
(1) and substituting the following—

(a) $65.00 for the small size;

(b) $90.00 for the medium size; and

(c) $260.00 for the large size.";

and

(b) by deleting sub-paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) of paragraph
(2) and substituting the following—

"(a) $65.00 for the very small size;

(b) $65.00 for the small size; and

(c) $90.00 for the medium size.".

Revokes and replaces regulation 127A of principal Regulations
4 Regulation 127A of the principal Regulations is revoked, and
replaced by the following—

"International Data Express
127A The fees for the preferential delivery of a postal packet of
a maximum weight of 15 kilograms are as follows—

(a) United States of America, and Canada
Up to 1/2 kg.: $25.00
For every additional 250g. or part thereof $3.00

(b) United Kingdom
Up to 1/2 kg.: $30.00
For every additional 250g. or part thereof $4.00

(c) All other countries in Europe
Up to 1/2 kg.: $30.00
For every additional 250g. or part thereof $4.00

(d) Caribbean and South America
Up to 1/2 kg.: $25.00
For every additional 250g. or part thereof $3.00

(e) All other countries
Up to 1/2 kg.: $36.00
For every additional 250g. or part thereof $4.75".

Revokes and replaces Schedule to principal Regulations
5 The Schedule to the principal Regulations is revoked and
replaced by the following—
