CLASS B – PROTECTED AREAS – PARKS

RAILWAY TRAIL, All Parishes

Addition of all that land throughout the Islands of Bermuda
forming the Railway Trail and shown (dashed line) on Map annexed
hereto amounting to approximately 35 hectares (86 acres).

The reasons for adding this area are to integrate the Railway
Trail into the National Parks System; to realize its full potential as a
recreational resource; and to create an accessible, continuous and well-
maintained parkland trail for pedestrian, cyclists and horse-riders that,
as far as is practicable, links one end of the island to the other.
