The Minister of Development, Opportunity and Government
Services, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 8 of the
Commission for Unity and Racial Equality Amendment Act 1999, gives
the following Notice:—

1 This Notice may be cited as the Commission for Unity and Racial
Equality Amendment Act 1999 Commencement Day Notice 2000.

Commencement day
2 The 21st day of January 2000 is appointed as the day on which
the Commission for Unity and Racial Equality Amendment Act 1999
comes into operation.
