MISCELLANEOUS TAXES (RATES) AMENDMENT ACT 2000

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Miscellaneous Taxes
(Rates) Act 1980:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Citation
1 This Act may be cited as the Miscellaneous Taxes (Rates)
Amendment Act 2000.

Amends s 9A of Miscellaneous Taxes (Rates) Act 1980
2 Section 9A of the Miscellaneous Taxes (Rates) Act 1980
(passenger cabin tax) is amended—

(a) in subsection (1)(a), by deleting "$10" and substituting
"$12";

(b) in subsection (1)(b) and (c), by deleting "$6" and
substituting "$8".

Commencement
3 This Act comes into operation on 1 April 2000.
