COURT OF APPEAL AMENDMENT ACT 2000

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Court of Appeal Act 1964
to make provision for increasing the maximum number of Justices of
Appeal:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title and commencement
1 This Act may be cited as the Court of Appeal Amendment Act
2000 and shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the
Attorney-General by notice published in the Gazette.

Amends section 3 of the Court of Appeal Act 1964
2 Section 3 of the Court of Appeal Act 1964 is amended in
subsection (1) by deleting the word "five" and substituting the word "six".
