THE GOVERNMENT FEES AMENDMENT (NO. 3)
REGULATIONS 1999

The Minister of Finance in exercise of the powers conferred upon
him by section 2(1) of the Government Fees Act 1965, makes the
following Regulations:

Citation and commencement
1 These Regulations which amend the Government Fees
Regulations 1976 may be cited as the Government Fees Amendment (No.
3) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation on a day to be
appointed by the Minister of Finance by notice published in the Gazette.

Inserts new Head 29A in Schedule to S.R. & O. 24/1976
2 The Schedule to the Government Fees Regulations 1976 is
amended by inserting next after Head 29 the following new Head:

"HEAD 29A

MARITIME MARRIAGE ACT 1999

(1) Entering a notice of—

(a) an intended marriage under section 6 $50.00

(b) a caveat under section 10 $33.00

(2) Issuing a certificate for marriage under section 7 $33.00

(3) (a) Applying for a special licence under section
13

$17.00

(b) Issuing a special licence under section 13 $362.00

(4) Copying an entry in the Register of Maritime
Marriages under section 19 $18.00

(5) Providing express service (within 2 days) on
request in connection with paragraph (4) $10.00

(6) Searching the Register of Maritime Marriages
under section 19 $12.00

(7) Correcting an entry in the Register of Maritime
Marriages under section 21 $12.00".
