PAYROLL TAX AMENDMENT ACT 1999

[Operative Date 1 April 1995]

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Payroll Tax Act 1995:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Citation
1 This Act which amends the Payroll Tax Act 1995 may be cited as
the Payroll Tax Amendment Act 1999.

Amends section 6 of Payroll Tax Act 1995
2 Section 6 of the Payroll Tax Act 1995 is amended in the Table to
the section by inserting next after item (c) the following new items—

"(d) members of the Senate and members
of the House of Assembly; Government

(e) a person holding an office set out in
the First Schedule to the Ministers
and Members of the Legislature
(Salaries and Pensions) Act 1975: Government.".

Commencement
3 This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 April,
1995.
