THE HOUSING ALLOWANCE (ALLOWABLE PERCENTAGE)
ORDER 1998

The Minister in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
section 7(2) of the Housing Allowance Act 1988 makes the following
Order:

Citation and commencement
1 This Order may be cited as the Housing Allowance (Allowable
Percentage) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 1 April 1998.

Allowable percentage
2 The allowable percentage is specified as eighty-five to ninety
percent.

Rescinds BR45/1989
3 The Housing Allowance (Allowable Percentage) Order 1989 is
rescinded.
