HOSPITAL INSURANCE (STANDARD HOSPITAL BENEFIT)
AMENDMENT (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 1998

The Minister in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
section 40 of the Hospital Insurance Act 1970 makes the following
Regulations :⎯

Citation and commencement
1 These Regulations which amend the Hospital Insurance
(Standard Hospital Benefit) Regulations 1971 may be cited as the
Hospital Insurance (Standard Hospital Benefit) Amendment (No. 2)
Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 1 July 1998.

Amends regulation 3
2 Regulation 3 of the Hospital Insurance (Standard Hospital
Benefit) Regulations 1971 is amended in paragraph (vi), by inserting next
after the word "purposes" the words "as approved by the Hospital
Insurance Commission".
