HOSPITAL INSURANCE (LICENSING OF INSURERS)
AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1998

The Minister in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
sections 28 and 40 of the Hospital Insurance Act 1970 makes the
following Regulations:

Citation and commencement
1 These Regulations which amend the Hospital Insurance
(Licensing of Insurers) Regulations 1971 may be cited as the Hospital
Insurance (Licensing of Insurers) Amendment Regulations 1998 and
shall come into operation on 1 July 1998.

Amendment
2 Regulation 4 of the Hospital Insurance (Licensing of Insurers)
Regulations 1971 is amended by deleting the symbol and figure "$500"
and substituting the symbol and figure "$550".
