THE CONSTITUTION OF BERMUDA

(Section 62(2))

THE GOVERNOR'S (BERMUDA REGIMENT POWERS)
DELEGATION DIRECTIONS 1998


In exercise of the power conferred upon the Governor by

subsection (2) of section 62 of the Constitution, the following Directions
are hereby given with the prior approval of the Secretary of State and
after consultation with the Premier:—

Citation
1 These Directions may be cited as the Governor's (Bermuda
Regiment Powers) Delegation Directions 1998.

Delegation of certain powers in relation to the Regiment
2 There is delegated to the Minister from time to time charged with
conduct of Security Services (Delegated Responsibility) responsibility for
the following matters relating to the administration of the Bermuda
Regiment, that is to say—

recruitment;

community relations;

budget;

answers to questions raised in the House of Assembly
and the Senate.
