ROAD TRAFFIC (VARIATION OF SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 1996

[made under section 7 (2A) of the Road Traffice Act 1947 [title 21 item 3]
and brought into operation on 30 June 1996]

ARRANGEMENT OF PARAGRAPHS

1 Citation 2 Speed limit and roads

Citation and application
1 This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Variation Of Speed
Limits) Order 1996.

2 This order applies to the contestants, and to the vehicles
attendant to the contestants, of the 1996 International Triathlon Union
World Cup Bermuda Cycle Race to be held on 30 June 1996.

Speed limit and roads
1 The speed limits fixed by section 7(2) of the Road Traffic Act
1947 are hereby varied to the extent specified in the first column of the
Schedule in respect of the International Triathlon Union World Cup
Bermuda Cycle Race.

2 The Roads or part thereof specified in the second column of the
Schedule are hereby declared to be subject at the times specified in the
third column of the Schedule to the speed limit specified in the first
column thereof.
