THE MARINE BOARD (PROHIBITED AREA) NOTICE 1996

The Minister in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
section 10(1)(aa) of the Marine Board Act 1962, gives the following Notice:


Citation
1 This Notice may be cited as the Marine Board (Prohibited Area)
Notice 1996.

Prohibited areas
2 The movement of ships or boats in the areas of waters
designated below is hereby prohibited, that is to say—

(a) the area of water bounded by the shore and lying
southward of a line extending from the north end of
Long Rock to a position 15 meters south of the north
end of Clearwater Beach; and

(b) the area of water bounded by the shore and lying
westward of a line extending from the south end of Long
Rock to the Inner Pear Rocks and thence to the south
