BERMUDA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT

HOUSING ALLOWANCE ACT 1988

[made under section 7(2) of the Housing Allowance Act 1988 [title 29 item
6] and brought into operation on 1 April 1997]

Citation
1 This Order may be cited as the Housing Allowance (Maximum
Allowable Rent) Order 1996 and shall come into operation on 1 April
1997.

Maximum allowable rent
2 The maximum allowable rent is specified as follows:

Studio $570

One bedroom $710

Two bedrooms $900

Three bedrooms $1,160

Rescinds BR60/1995
3 The Housing Allowance (Maximum Allowable Rent) Order 1995 is
rescinded.
