HOSPITAL INSURANCE (HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN)
(ADDITIONAL BENEFITS) AMENDMENT ORDER 1996

The Minister, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by
section 13 of the Hospital Insurance Act 1970 makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
1 This Order which amends the Hospital Insurance (Health
Insurance Plan) (Additional Benefits) Order 1988 may be cited as the
Hospital Insurance (Health Insurance Plan) (Additional Benefits)
Amendment Order 1996, and shall come into operation on 1 April 1996.

Amendment
2 The Schedule to the Hospital Insurance (Health Insurance
Plan) Additional Benefits Order 1988 is rescinded and the following
substituted —

1. Medical pre-admission office visit:
to a maximum of 4 units.

2. Medical Care: )

5. Medical Home visits:
to a maximum of 4 visits per month.

6. Laser ophthalmic treatment in a doctor's office:
to a maximum of 80 units.".
