BERMUDA BAR (PRACTISING CERTIFICATE) AMENDMENT
RULES 1995

In exercise of the power conferred upon it by section 9 of the
Bermuda Bar Act 1974 and otherwise, the Bar Council makes the
following Rules:

Citation
1 These Rules may be cited as the Bermuda Bar (Practising
Certificate) Amendment Rules 1995.

Amendment of r 7 of BR 62/1984
2 Rule 7 of the Bermuda Bar (Practising Certificate) Rules 1984
("the Rules") is revoked and the following rule is substituted—

"Fees
7 (1) The fee for a practising certificate shall be $25.00.

(2) The fee for a special practising certificate shall be
$50.00.

(3) Where the fee prescribed by paragraph (1) is
payable, there shall also be paid at the same time an amount
equal to the amount of the profession registration tax charged
under section 39N of the Miscellaneous Taxes Act 1976.".

Amendment of Form 1 in Schedule to the Rules
3 In paragraph 3 of Form 1 in the Schedule to the Rules "31st
January" is deleted and "30th November" is substituted.
