HOSPITAL INSURANCE (DEDUCTIONS) AMENDMENT
REGULATIONS 1993

Minister in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section
40 of the Hospital Insurance Act 1970 makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement
1 These Regulations which amend the Hospital Insurance
(Deductions) Regulations 1971 may be cited as the Hospital Insurance
(Deductions) Amendment Regulations 1993 and shall come into
operation on 1st April 1993.

Amendments
2 The Hospital Insurance (Deductions) Regulations 1971 are
amended as follows:

(a) in regulation 2(1)(a), for the symbols and figure "$6.75¢"
substitute the symbols and figure "$7.00¢";

(b) in regulation 2(1)(b), for the symbols and figure
"$29.25¢" substitute the symbols and figure "$30.34¢";

(c) in regulation 3(1), for the symbols and figure "$6.75¢"
substitute the symbols and figure "$7.00¢".
