CHAPTER 157
REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS RULES (Section 45)
1. These Rules may be cited as the
REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS RULES.
2. Deputy Registrars of Births and Deaths appointed under the provisions of section 6 of the Act shall receive a fee of one dollar for the registration of any birth or death, provided that in the event of the transcript thereof not being transmitted, in the Belize District to the Registrar General and in the outlying Districts to their respective District Registrars within two months from the date of registration, the fee payable in respect thereof shall become forfeited.

CHAPTER 157
REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (FEES) RULES (Section 45)
[8th May, 1999]
1. These Rules may be cited as the
REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (FEES) RULES.
2. The Registrar General and the several Deputy Registrars shall demand and receive the following fees which shall be paid into the Consolidated Revenue Fund:
(1) (a) For a certificate of any entry in any register ...................................................... $4.00
(b) For any one day service requested for a cerrtificate in any entry in respect of
(i) a marriage ......................................... $20.00 (ii) a birth, death or an adoption ............... $15.00
(2) For the registration of any birth after the expiration of one year from such birth and no later than five years thereof, under the written authority of the Registrar General ......................................................... $25.00
(3) For the registration of any birth after the expiration of five years from such birth, under the written authority of the Registrar General ..................................... $50.00

(4) For altering or adding a name in the register of births after registration .................................................$3.00
(5) For every other alteration made in any register under the written authority of the Registrar General................ $3.00
3. These Rules shall come into force upon signature.
4. The Registration of Births and Deaths (Fees) Rules, 1985 are hereby repealed.

REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (NORMAL FORM OF BIRTH AND DEATH CERTIFICATES)
RULES (Section 45)
[11th October, 2002.]
1. These Rules may be cited as the
REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (NORMAL FORM OF BIRTH AND DEATH CERTIFICATES) RULES.
2. Every normal birth certificate shall -
(a) be in the form set out in Schedule I hereto;
(b) be on A4 size paper measuring eight and a half inches by eleven inches;
(c) bear the seal of the General Registry;
(d) be signed by the Assistant Registrar (Births, Deaths and Marriages);
(e) carry a serial number in the middle of the bottom margin on the face of the certificate.
3. Every normal death certificate shall
(a) be in the form set out in Schedule II hereto;
