CHAPTER 89

PUNTA GORDA (ESTABLISHMENT OF PUBLIC POUND) NOTICE

(Sections 3 and 7)

[28th September, 1925]

1. This Notice may be cited as the

PUNTA GORDA (ESTABLISHMENT OF PUBLIC POUND) NOTICE.

2. The Court House Compound at Punta Gorda is declared to be a public pound for the town of Punta Gorda and the Officer in charge of the Belize Police Department at Punta Gorda is appointed to be the keeper thereof.

3. The fees specified in the Schedule hereto shall be taken and paid in respect of the matters respectively set out therein.

SCHEDULE

1. For every horse, mule, ass, bull, ox, cow or heifer impounded- $ c

(a) For any period not exceeding six hours .... 0.25

(b) For any period after the first six hours not exceeding twenty-four hours including the price to be charged by the Keeper for the sustenance of any such animal .................. 0.25

(c) For every twenty-four hours after the first thirty hours including the price to be charged by the Keeper for the sustenance of any such animal ................................. 0.50

2. For every sheep, goat, calf, lamb, kid, hog or pig impounded-

(a) For any period not exceeding six hours .. 0.25

(b) For any period after the first six hours not exceeding twenty-four hours including the price to be charged by the Keeper for the sustenance of any such animal ............... 0.15

(c) For every twenty-four hours after the first thirty hours including the price to be charged by the Keeper for the sustenance of any such animal ................................... 0.40

BELIZE CITY (POUND FEES) NOTICE (Section 7)

[30th October, 1925]

1. This Notice may be cited as the

BELIZE CITY (POUND FEES) NOTICE.

2. (1) The following are the fees for the Belize City Pound:

(a) For every horse, mare, mule, ass, bull, ox, cow, heifer, calf or swine, for the first six hours after impounding a charge of ................................... $1.00

(b) For any period up to twenty-four hours after first six hours including the price to be charged and received by the Keeper for the sustenance of every such animal ...................................... $0.25

(c) For every day or portion of a day after first twenty-four hours including the price to be charged and received by the Keeper for the sustenance of every such animal .................... $0.50

(2) (a) For every sheep, goat, lamb or kid, for the first

six hours after impounding a charge of ............ $0.50

(b) For any period up to twenty-four hours after first six hours including the price to be charged and received by the Keeper for the sustenance of every such animal ....................................... $0.25
