CHAPTER 27

NOTIFICATION OF ABSENCE ACT

[25th September, 1892]

1. This Act may be cited as the Notification of Absence Act.

2. In this Act, “officer” means any person appointed by the Governor- General, Prime Minister, or a Minister to be-

(a) a member of any committee or board;

(b) a commissioner of any kind; or

(c) a visiting justice of any prison.

3. Every officer intending to go beyond the limits of Belize shall give written notice of such intention to the Governor-General, the Prime Minister or Minister, as the case may be.
