Short title
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Regulations. 1988 No. 197 AUSTRALIAN MEAT AND LIVE-STOCK CORPORATION REGULATIONS

Interpretation
2. In these Regulations, "the Act" means the Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Act 1977. 1988 No. 197 AUSTRALIAN MEAT AND LIVE-STOCK CORPORATION REGULATIONS

Prescribed schemes: subsection 8 (3A) of the Act
3. For the purposes of subsection 8 (3A) of the Act, each of the following schemes is a prescribed scheme for the marketing of meat or live-stock: (a) AUS-MEAT, a scheme operated by the Authority for Uniform Specification Meat and Livestock, a committee appointed under section 16 of the Act; (b) CALM, a computer aided livestock marketing scheme operated by the CALM Services Board, a committee appointed under that section.
