REMUNERATION TRIBUNAL   Determination 2005/12:
Remuneration and Allowances for Office Holders
  Pursuant to subsections 5(2A), 7(3), 7(3D) and 7(4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973, the Remuneration Tribunal has inquired into the remuneration and allowances to be paid to various office holders, and other matters significantly related thereto, and determines as set out below.   This Determination takes effect on and from the day following the day it is registered in the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments except where otherwise specified.     PART 1 – PART TIME OFFICES   1.1      In this part Determination Number 5 of 2005 is referred to as the Principal Determination.   1.2     Column 1 of Table A1A of the Principal Determination is amended by changing the entry ‘Professional Committees – Health and Aged Care and Family and Community Services Portfolios (refer Schedule B)’ to ‘Professional Committees – Health and Ageing, and Family and Community Services Portfolios (refer Schedule B)’. The associated entries in Columns 2 to 6 remain unchanged.   1.3     Table A1A of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting the following entry immediately following the entry for ‘Australian Competition and Consumer Commission – Associate Member’.

  1.4      Table A1A of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the entries in Columns 1 to 6 inclusive for ‘National Health Information Management Advisory Council’.    1.5      Table A1A of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the entries in Columns 1 to 6 inclusive for ‘Regional Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund’.   1.6     Table A1A of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the entries in Columns 1 to 6 inclusive for: ·         ‘Clinical Casemix Committee of Australia’ ·         ‘General Practice Recognition Eligibility Committees’ ·         ‘General Practice Recognition Appeals Committee’.  1.7     Clause B1.1 of Schedule B of the Principal Determination is amended by including in the list, in alphabetical order, the entries: ·         ‘Clinical Casemix Committee of Australia’ ·         ‘General Practice Recognition Eligibility Committees’ ·         ‘General Practice Recognition Appeals Committee’.              1.8     Clause B1.1 of Schedule B of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the entry ‘Quality Use of Pathology Committee’.   1.9      Clauses 1.2 to 1.8 inclusive have effect on and from 1 July 2005.     PART 2 – PART-TIME OFFICES   2.1      In this part Determination Number 10 of 2005 is referred to as the Principal Determination.   2.2      Clause 1.5 of the Principal Determination is amended by omitting the words ‘Clause 1.2’ and substituting the words ‘Clause 1.4’.   2.3      Clause 2.2 has effect on and from 10 March 2005.     PART 3 – FULL-TIME OFFICES   3.1     In this part Determination Number 6 of 2005 is referred to as the Principal Determination.   3.2     Table 2A of the Principal Determination is amended by including the entries in the table below, with effect on and from 1 July 2005.  The entries are inserted immediately following the entries for ‘Commissioner, Australian Federal Police’, ‘Deputy Chair, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’, and ‘Member, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’ respectively.

      PART 4 – PRINCIPAL EXECUTIVE OFFICES   4.1             In this part Determination Number 15 of 1999 is referred to as the Principal Determination. 4.2             Clause D1 of the Principal Determination is amended by omitting ‘2004-2005’ and substituting ‘2005-2006’.
4.3             Clause D1 of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the footnote marked ß.
4.4             Clauses 4.2 and 4.3 have effect on and from 1 July 2005.
