DETERMINATION IN RELATION TO The SOUTHERN AND EASTERN SCALEFISH AND SHARK FISHERY, SOUTH TASMAN RISE FISHERY, SMALL PELAGIC FISHERY AND NORFOLK ISLAND OFFSHORE DEMERSAL FINFISH FISHERY     I, Geoff Richardson, Executive Manager, Fisheries (Acting) of the Australian Fisheries Management Authority, as delegate make the following determination under subsection 42 (1) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991.

Citation
  1.                         This determination may be cited as the EFT01A Determination 2005.  
Commencement
  2.                         This determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.  
Interpretation
  3.                         In this determination:     “Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery” means all commercial fishing under a concession for the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery in the sectors defined in Schedule 1 Part 2 (3), (4), (5) and (9) of the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery Management Plan 2003.   “South Tasman Rise Fishery” means all commercial fishing under a concession for the South Tasman Rise Fishery in the area defined in Part 11A of Schedule 1A of the Fisheries Management Regulations.   “Small Pelagic Fishery” means all commercial fishing under a concession for the Small Pelagic Fishery in the area defined in Part 4 of Schedule 1A of the Fisheries Management Regulations.   “Norfolk Island Offshore Demersal Finfish Fishery” means all commercial fishing under a concession for the Norfolk Island Offshore Demersal Finfish Fishery in the area defined in Part 5A of Schedule 1A of the Fisheries Management Regulations.   [Note:                      Terms defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1991 have the same meanings in this determination.]  
Determination
  4.                         That EFT01A (at Attachment A) be the form and content of logbook requiring holders of fishing concessions in the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery, South Tasman Rise Fishery, Small Pelagic Fishery and Norfolk Island Offshore Demersal Finfish Fishery. 5.                         That concession holders in the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery, South Tasman Rise Fishery, Small Pelagic Fishery and Norfolk Island Offshore Demersal Finfish Fishery must keep and maintain the Eastern Finfish Trawl Daily Fishing Log (EFT01A).
