I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Crimes (Overseas) Act 1964. 1              Name of Regulations                 These Regulations are the Crimes (Overseas) (Declared Foreign Countries) Amendment Regulations 2005 (No. 1). 2              Commencement                 These Regulations commence on 1 July 2005. 3              Amendment of Crimes (Overseas) (Declared Foreign Countries) Regulations 2003                 Schedule 1 amends the Crimes (Overseas) (Declared Foreign Countries) Regulations 2003.
Schedule 1        Amendments (regulation 3)    [1]           Paragraph 4 (2) (b) substitute                (b)    Iraq is to cease being a declared foreign country for the purposes of the Act on 1 July 2007. [2]           Paragraph 5 (2) (b) substitute                (b)    the Solomon Islands is to cease being a declared foreign country for the purposes of the Act on 1 July 2007.
