      1              Name of Determination                 This Determination is the Currency (Perth Mint) Determination 2005 (No. 1). 2              Commencement                 This Determination commences on the day after it is registered. 3              Standard composition of coins                 For subsection 13 (2) of the Currency Act 1965, that Act has effect, on and after the day on which this Determination commences, as if the reference, in the Schedule to that Act:                 (a)    to the standard composition of coins of the denomination specified in item 1 in Schedule 1 to this Determination were a reference to the standard composition specified in that item; and                (b)    to the standard composition of coins of the denomination specified in item 3 in Schedule 1 to this Determination were a reference to the standard composition specified in that item. Note   The standard compositions specified in the items are in addition to the current standard compositions for those coins. 4              Specification of coins                 For subsection 13A (1) of the Currency Act 1965, each item in Schedule 1 specifies, for a coin having the denomination and standard composition specified in that item:                 (a)    the coin’s standard weight, and the allowable variation from that weight; and                (b)    the coin’s dimensions; and                 (c)    the coin’s design. 5              Application of Determination                 The specifications in Schedule 1 do not affect any other determination of the specifications of a coin.
