VARIATION TO LICENCE AREA PLAN FOR GRIFFITH AND THE MURRUMBIDGEE IRRIGATION AREA TELEVISION – NO 1 OF 2006
Pursuant to subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, the Australian Communications and Media Authority varies the Licence Area Plan for Griffith and the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area Television determined on 10 August 1995 (the principal instrument) in the manner set out below:
(1) The determination in the principal instrument is varied to:
(a) number each of the paragraphs in the determination consecutively as clauses (1) and (2);
(b) in clause (2):
(i) omit the words “One national or community television broadcasting service,”; and
(ii) omit the number “1.11” and substitute the number “1.9”.
(c) insert the following clause after clause (2):
“(3) A reference in this determination to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule as amended from time to time.”
(2) Under the heading “SCHEDULE”, immediately following the determination;
(a) omit the words “The Schedule sets out:”;
(b) omit all six paragraphs marked with dot points;
(c) omit the heading “SCHEDULE” and substitute the heading “SCHEDULE ONE”.
(3) Schedules to the principal instrument are varied to omit the Schedule of the principal instrument and substitute the table headed Schedule One in item 2 on page 6 of this instrument.
(4) Omit all attachments to the principal instrument and substitute all attachments to this instrument.
