  FISHERIES MANAGEMENT ACT 1991 BASS STRAIT CENTRAL ZONE SCALLOP FISHERY MANAGEMENT PLAN 2002   BASS STRAIT CENTRAL ZONE SCALLOP FISHERY TOTAL ALLOWABLE CATCH DETERMINATION 2006   I, Richard McLoughlin, Managing Director of the Australian Fisheries Management Authority, as delegate, make the following Determination under section 17(6)(aa) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991 and section 27(1) of the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery Management Plan 2002.   Dated           23 March                   2006     Richard McLoughlin     Managing Director, Australian Fisheries Management Authority   _______________________ Citation 1.       This Determination may be cited as the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery  Total Allowable Catch Determination 2006. Commencement and period of application 2.       This Determination applies from 1 May 2006 and ends on 20 December 2006. Meaning of certain expressions   3.       An expression used in this Determination that is used in the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery Management Plan 2002 has the same meaning in this Determination as in that Plan. Determination of total allowable catch 4.      The total allowable catch of commercial scallops, Pecten fumatus, that may be taken in the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery is 0 tonnes. 5.      The total allowable catch of Doughboy scallop, Chlamys (Mimachlamys) asperrimus, that may be taken in the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery is 0 tonnes.
