POST OFFICE BOX AND COURIER ADDRESSES
(VARIOUS PROVISIONS OF SCHEDULE 1 AND 2 TO THE REGULATIONS)
 
I, KEVIN ANDREWS, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under various provisions of Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 to the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):
 
1.       REVOKE Instrument number IMMI 06/040, signed 22 June 2006, specifying post office box and courier addresses for the purposes of various provisions of Schedule 1 to the Regulations;
 
2.       SPECIFY the following post office box address for the purposes of subparagraphs 1128AA(3)(aa)(i), 1128B(3)(aa)(i), 1128BA(3)(h)(i), 1128C(3)(aa)(i), 1128CA(3)(c)(i), 1128D(3)(aa)(i), 1134(3)(b)(i), 1135(3)(a)(ii), 1136(3)(a)(ii), 1212A(3)(j)(i), 1218A(3)(b)(i), 1226(3)(b)(i), 1228(3)(a)(ii) and 1229(3)(a)(ii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations and for the purposes of subparagraphs 176.222(3)(b)(ii)(A), 475.222(b)(ii)(A), 487.225(b)(ii)(A) and 886.222(3)(b)(ii)(A) of Schedule 2 to the Regulations:

3.             SPECIFY the following address as the address for courier delivery for the purposes of subparagraphs 1128AA(3)(aa)(ii), 1128B(3)(aa)(ii), 1128BA(3)(h)(ii), 1128C(3)(aa)(ii), 1128CA(3)(c)(ii), 1128D(3)(aa)(ii), 1134(3)(b)(ii), 1135(3)(a)(iii), 1136(3)(a)(iii), 1212A(3)(j)(ii), 1218A(3)(b)(ii), 1226(3)(b)(ii), 1228(3)(a)(iii) and 1229(3)(a)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations and for the purposes of subparagraphs 176.222(3)(b)(ii)(B), 475.222(b)(ii)(B), 487.225(b)(ii)(B) and 886.222(3)(b)(ii)(B):

[NOTE 1:  Paragraph 1128AA(3)(aa) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skill Matching (Migrant) (Class BR) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 2:   Paragraph 1128B(3)(aa) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled – Australian-sponsored (Migrant) (Class BQ) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 3:   Paragraph 1128BA(3)(h) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled – Australian-sponsored Overseas Student (Residence) (Class DE) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 4:   Paragraph 1128C(3)(aa) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled – Independent (Migrant) (Class BN) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 5:   Paragraph 1128CA(3)(c) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled – Independent Overseas Student (Residence) (Class DD) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 6:   Paragraph 1128D(3)(aa) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled – New Zealand Citizen (Residence) (Class DB) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 7:   Paragraph 1134(3)(b) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled – Designated Area-sponsored (Residence) (Class CC) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 8:   Paragraph 1135(3)(a) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled (Migrant) (Class VE) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 9:   Paragraph 1136(3)(a) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled (Residence) (Class VB) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 10:  Paragraph 1212A(3)(j) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Graduate Skilled (Temporary) (Class UQ) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 11:  Paragraph 1218A(3)(b) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled – Independent Regional (Provisional) (Class UX) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 12:  Paragraph 1226(3)(b) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled – Designated Area-sponsored (Provisional) (Class UZ) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 13:  Paragraph 1228(3)(a) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled (Provisional)(Class VF) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 14:  Paragraph 1229(3)(a) of the Regulations provides that an application for a Skilled (Provisional)(Class VC) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 15:  Paragraph 176.222(3)(b)(ii) of the Regulations provides that the sponsorship made on Form 1277 associated with an application for a Subclass 176 (Skilled-Sponsored) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 16:  Paragraph 475.222(b)(ii) of the Regulations provides that the sponsorship made on Form 1277 associated with an application for a Subclass 475 (Skilled-Regional Sponsored) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 17:  Paragraph 487.225(b)(ii) of the Regulations provides that the sponsorship made on Form 1277 associated with an application for a Subclass 487 (Skilled-Regional Sponsored) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.
NOTE 18:  Paragraph 886.222(3)(b)(ii) of the Regulations provides that the sponsorship made on Form 1277 associated with an application for a Subclass 886 (Skilled - Sponsored) visa must be made by posting the application to the post office box address specified by the Minister, or by having the application delivered by a courier service to the address specified by the Minister.]
