Variation to Licence Area Plan for Hobart Radio – No. 1 of 2007
Pursuant to subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, the Australian Communications and Media Authority varies the Licence Area Plan for Hobart Radio determined on 13 December 2001 (the principal instrument) in the manner set out below:
(1) The determination in the principal instrument is varied to:
(a) number each of the paragraphs in the determination consecutively as clauses (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6) and (7); and
(b) in clause (2),
(i) to omit the words and numbers “Attachments 1.2 – 1.20” and to substitute the words and numbers “Attachments 1.2, 1.4 – 1.17 and 1.19 – 1.20”.
(c) insert the following clauses after clause (7):
“(8) A reference in this determination to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time.”
(2) Immediately following the determination:
(a) omit the heading “Schedules”;
(b) omit the words “Each of the Schedules sets out”;
(c) omit all eight paragraphs marked with dot points;
(d) omit the heading “Status Column”;
(e) omit all five paragraphs under that heading;
(f) omit the heading “Frequency Column”; and
(g) omit the two paragraphs under that heading.
(3) The schedules to the principal instrument are varied to:
(a) omit Schedule One of the principal instrument and substitute the table headed Schedule One in item 1 on page 4 of this instrument; and
(b) omit Schedule Two of the principal instrument and substitute the table headed Schedule Two in item 2 on page 5 of this instrument.
(c) omit the Status column from Schedule Three of the principal instrument;
(d) omit the Status column from Schedule Four of the principal instrument;
(e) omit the Status column from Schedule Five of the principal instrument; and
(f) omit the Status column from Schedule Six of the principal instrument;
(4) Attachments to the principal instrument are varied to:
(a) omit Attachment 1.1 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 1.1 of this instrument;
(b) omit Attachment 1.3 of the principal instrument;
(c) omit Attachment 1.4 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 1.4 of this instrument;
(d) omit Attachment 1.18 of the principal instrument;
(e) omit Attachment 1.19 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 1.19 of this instrument;
(f) omit Attachment 2.1 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 2.1 of this instrument;
(g) omit Attachment 2.2 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 2.2 of this instrument;
(h) omit Attachment 2.3 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 2.3 of this instrument;
(i) omit Attachment 3.1 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 3.1 of this instrument;
(j) omit Attachment 4.1 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 4.1 of this instrument;
(k) omit Attachment 5.1 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 5.1 of this instrument; and
(l) omit Attachment 6.1 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 6.1 of this instrument.
