The Australian Fisheries Management Authority makes this determination under subsection 17(6)(aa) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991 and section 27(1) of the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery Management Plan 2002.

1              Name of determination
                This Determination may be cited as the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery  Total Allowable Catch Determination 2007.
2              Commencement
          This Determination commences on 1 May 2007 and ends on 20 December 2007.
Note 1   Unless otherwise stated, a term used in this determination and in the Fisheries Management Act 1991 has the same meaning in this determination as in the Fisheries Management Act 1991.
 
3              Definitions
          An expression used in this Determination that is used in the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery Management Plan 2002 has the same meaning in this Determination as in that Plan.
               
4              Determination of total allowable catch
The total allowable catch of commercial scallops, Pecten fumatus, that may be taken in the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery is 0 tonnes.
 
The total allowable catch of Doughboy scallop, Chlamys (Mimachlamys) asperrimus, that may be taken in the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery is 0 tonnes.
