DIRECTION UNDER SECTION 32, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT 1997
Context:           
On 30 June 2006 the Migration Review Tribunal and the Refugee Review Tribunal were abolished.
On 1 July 2006, the Migration Review Tribunal and Refugee Review Tribunal (‘MRT-RRT’) was established as a prescribed agency for the purposes of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 ('the FMA Act') and the functions which were previously functions of the Migration Review Tribunal and the Refugee Review Tribunal became functions of the MRT-RRT.
I, Beverley Anne Hazell, Division Manager, Financial Reporting and Cash Management Division, Department of Finance and Administration, sub-delegate of the Minister for Finance and Administration under the FMA Act, issue the following direction under section 32 of the FMA Act:
That the appropriation items listed in column 1 of the following table in the amounts listed in column 4 be transferred from the 'old agency' listed in column 2 to the 'new agency' listed in column 3.
