I, Warren Snowdon, Minister for Defence Science and Personnel, make this Determination under paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004.

1              Name of Determination
This Determination is the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation (Non-warlike Service) Determination 2008/1.
2              Revocation of Military Rehabilitation and Compensation      (Non-warlike Service) Determination 2007/2
                This Determination revokes and replaces the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation (Non-warlike Service) Determination 2007/2.  For the avoidance of doubt, this Determination does not affect the operation of the previous Military Rehabilitation and Compensation (non-warlike service) Determination 2007/1.
3              Commencement
                This Determination is taken to have commenced on 28 July 2008.
4              Non-warlike service
                For paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004, service in an operation specified in the Schedule is non-warlike service for the purposes of that Act.
