I, PETER ROBERT GARRETT, Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts hereby:
 
(a)        adopt, under subsection 269A(7) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, the following recovery plans for the listed threatened species specified below:

(b)        revoke, pursuant to section 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, the Helmeted Honeyeater Recovery Plan DNRE (1999) (adopted on 16 July 2000).  
 
The adopted recovery plans will come into force on the day after this instrument is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments. 
 
The revocation of the Helmeted Honeyeater Recovery Plan will take effect on the day after this instrument is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.
