I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Health Insurance Act 1973.

1              Name of Regulations
                These Regulations are the Health Insurance (General Medical Services Table) Amendment Regulations 2008 (No. 3).
2              Commencement
                These Regulations commence on 1 October 2008.
3              Amendment of Health Insurance (General Medical Services Table) Regulations 2007
                Schedule 1 amends the Health Insurance (General Medical Services Table) Regulations 2007.

insert
76A         Application of items 11000 to 12217 and 12500 to 12533
                An item in the range 11000 to 12217, or in the range 12500 to 12533, does not apply to a service described in that item if the service is provided at the same time as, or in connection with, home‑based sleep studies.
