COMMONWEALTH PELAGIC FISHERIES CATCH DISPOSAL RECORD
 
 
I, Mark Farrell, General Manager (Chief Information Officer), acting as a delegate of the Australian Fisheries Management Authority, make the following determination under subsection 42(1) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991.

Citation
 
1.                       This determination may be cited as the Determination No. PT02A Commonwealth Pelagic Fisheries Catch Disposal Record.
 
Commencement
 
2.                       This determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.
 
Interpretation
 
3.                       In this determination:
 
“Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery” means all commercial fishing under a concession for the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery in the area defined in Parts 1, 2 and 3 of Schedule 1 of the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery Management Plan 2005”. 
 
“Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery” means all commercial fishing under a concession for the Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery in the area defined in Parts 1, 2 and 3 of Schedule 1 of the Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery Management Plan 2005”.
 
“High Sea Fishery” means all commercial fishing under a concession for the High Seas Fishery in the area defined in Part 2, Section 4AA (3) of the Fisheries Management Regulations 1992”
 
 
[Note: Terms defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1991 have the same meanings in this determination.]
 
Determination
 
4.                       That the Commonwealth Pelagic Fisheries Catch Disposal Record (PT02A) (at Attachment A) be the form and content of Catch Disposal Record (CDR) required for holders of relevant fishing concessions in the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery, Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery and High Seas Fishery.
 
5.                       The relevant concession holders in the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery, Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery and the High Seas Fishery must keep and maintain the Commonwealth Catch Disposal Record (PT02A).
