Variation to Licence Area Plan for Launceston Radio – No.1 of 2009
1 Enabling legislation
The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes this instrument under subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
2 Name of instrument
This instrument is the Variation to the Licence Area Plan for Launceston Radio – No. 1 of 2009.
3 Commencement
This instrument commences the day after it is registered.
Note: An instrument is registered when it is recorded on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments (FRLI) in electronic form : see the Legislative Instruments Act 2003, s4 (definition of register). The FRLI may be accessed at http://www.frli.gov.au.
4 Variation
The Licence Area Plan for Launceston Radio determined by the Australian Broadcasting Authority on 13 December 2001 and varied on 24 March 2005 is varied as follows:
(a) in the heading on the first page – omit the words “– December 2001”;
(b) in clause 2:
(i) omit the words “Five national radio broadcasting services and two commercial radio broadcasting service” and substitute the words “Five national radio broadcasting services, two commercial radio broadcasting services and one open narrowcasting radio service”;
(ii) omit the words “Attachments 1.2 – 1.11” and substitute the words “Attachments 1.3 – 1.6 and 1.9 – 1.14”;
(c) omit Schedule One and substitute Schedule One to this instrument;
(d) in the headings to each of Schedule Two, Schedule Three, Schedule Four, Attachment 1.3, Attachment 1.4, Attachment 1.5, Attachment 2.2, Attachment 2.3, Attachment 2.4, Attachment 2.5 and Attachment 4.2 – omit the words “– December 2001”;
(e) omit Attachment 1.2, Attachment 1.7 and Attachment 1.8;
(f) insert Attachment 1.12. Attachment 1.13 and Attachment 1.14;
(g) omit Attachment 1.1, Attachment 1.9, Attachment 1.10, Attachment 1.11, Attachment 2.1, Attachment 3.1, Attachment 3.2 and Attachment 4.1 of the principal instrument, and substitute in the corresponding places the Attachments to this instrument having those same numbers;
(h) reorder the Attachments so they are sequential.
