1              Name of Determination
This Determination is the Aged Care (Residential care subsidy — amount of transitional supplement) Determination 2009 (No. 1).  This Determination may also be cited as ACA Ch. 3 No. 6/2009.
2              Commencement
This Determination commences on 20 March 2009.
3              Revocation
The Aged Care (Residential care subsidy — amount of transitional supplement) Determination 2008 (No. 2) made by the Minister on 19 September 2008 is revoked.
4              Definitions
In this Determination:
Act means the Aged Care Act 1997.
transitional supplement has the same meaning as in section 21.25C of the Residential Care Subsidy Principles 1997.
5              Amount of transitional supplement
For subsection 44-16 (3) of the Act, the amount of the transitional supplement is $18.39.
