1.                  Name of Rules
             These Rules are the Private Health Insurance (Prostheses Application and Listing Fee) Amendment Rules 2009 (No. 1).
 
2.                  Commencement
These Rules commence on the day after they are registered.
 
3.                  Amendment of the Private Health Insurance (Prostheses Application and Listing Fee) Rules 2008 (No. 1)
             The Schedule amends the Private Health Insurance (Prostheses Application and Listing Fee) Rules 2008 (No. 1).

[1]           Part 2, Paragraph 5(1)(b)
                Delete paragraph 5(1)(b), substitute:
 
(b)                 in relation to any other prosthesis, except where subrule (2) applies―$600.
 
[2]           Part 2, Paragraph 6(1)(b)
Delete paragraph 6(1)(b), substitute:
 
(b)                 for any other prosthesis, except where subrule (2) or rule 8 applies―$200.
 
[3]           Part 2, Paragraph 7(b)
                Delete paragraph 7(b), substitute:
 
(b)                 for any other prosthesis, except where rule 9 applies―$200.
 
[4]           Part 2, Rule 10
 
                Delete rule 10 in its entirety including the Note immediately following rule 10, substitute:
             Ongoing listing fee imposition day
For subsection 4 (4) of the Act, the following days of each year are specified as ongoing listing fee imposition days:
(c)                 15 March; and
(d)                 15 September.
  Note:        The ongoing listing fee must be paid within 28 days of each ongoing listing fee imposition day―see subsection 72-15 (2) of the Private Health Insurance Act 2007.
