I, STEPHEN SMITH, Minister for Foreign Affairs, make this Determination under section 57 of the Australian Passports Act 2005.

1              Name of Determination
                This Determination is the Australian Passports Amendment Determination 2010 (No. 1).
2              Commencement
                This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.
3              Amendment of Australian Passports Determination 2005
                Schedule 1 amends the Australian Passports Determination 2005.

         (4)   For section 46 of the Australian Passports Act, the Minister may disclose personal information of a kind mentioned in Schedule 2 to a person mentioned in Part 5 of Schedule 3, for the purpose mentioned in paragraph 46 (d) of the Australian Passports Act.
