MIGRATION AGENTS
(CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT –
PROGRAM OF EDUCATION)
 
Office of the MARA NOTICE No. MN17-10a OF 2010
 
The Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority, acting under clause 3 of Schedule 1 to the Migration Agents Regulations 1998:

(1)              REVOKES the notice entitled Migration Agents (Continuing Professional Development – Program of Education) MARA Notice MN31-08a of 2008, made on 01/08/2008; and

(2)              SPECIFIES  the program of education described in columns 2 and 3 of an item in the Schedule as an approved activity for the purposes of that clause:
 
(a)        with the status specified in column 4; and
 
(b)              having the value specified in column 5.
 
(3)       SETS AS A REQUIREMENT for the completion of the activity described in columns 2 and 3, that the activity be completed at a time when the participant has previously satisfied the requirements as follows:
 
Requirement for eligibility to complete the activity

Participant is a registered migration agent at completion of the activity or was a registered migration agent in the 12 months prior to completion of the activity.

 
This notice has effect on and from 1 April 1998.
