Broadcasting Services (Simulcast Period for the Broken Hill, Mount Gambier/South East, Riverland and Spencer Gulf Licence Areas) Determination (No. 1) 2010
I, STEPHEN MICHAEL CONROY, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, make the following Determination under subclause 6A(2) of Schedule 4 to the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1. Name of Determination
This Determination is the Broadcasting Services (Simulcast Period for the Broken Hill, Mount Gambier/South East, Riverland and Spencer Gulf licence areas) Determination (No. 1) 2010.
2. Commencement
This Determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.
3. Definitions
In this Determination:
ACMA means the Australian Communications and Media Authority;
Broken Hill licence area is the area determined by the ACMA in the Licence Area Plan Broken Hill (Television and Radio) made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992;
Mount Gambier/South East licence area is the area determined by the ACMA in the Licence Area Plan Mount Gambier/South East (Television) made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992;
Riverland licence area is the area determined by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) in the Licence Area Plan Riverland (Television and Radio) made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992;
simulcast period has the same meaning as paragraphs (a) and (c) of the definition of ‘simulcast period’ in clause 2 of Schedule 4 to the Broadcasting Services Act 1992;
Spencer Gulf licence area is the area determined by the ACMA in the Licence Area Plan Spencer Gulf (Television) made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
4. Determination
The simulcast period for the Broken Hill licence area, the Mount Gambier/South East licence area, the Riverland licence area and the Spencer Gulf licence area is to run until and including 15 December 2010.
